Looks like Jet2 are leasing a Neos Air Boeing 737-800 again for Leeds/Bradford operations. As we have an EXS43A showing on the airport live arrivals page due in at 07:50 tomorrow morning from Milan Malpensa. It is showing positioning back out at 15:40 as EXS44A.

By any chance could the Multiflight aircraft have brought some BRS pax to LBA today? As I arrived at the airport today from Alicante, there was a large queue of passengers outside the terminal and it looks like they where waiting for a coach to arrive, looking at the PAX luggage labels, they all had BRS on them with a TCX flight code.

Very likely as BRS with its two new based TCX A 321s has had a dreadful week. Last Sunday a Small Planet B 733 replaced a 321 to Zante leaving over 60 passengers to be taken by road to LGW from where they left over 12 hours late. The following day a TCX B 757 had to be brought in to replace a 321 to Bodrum. Yesterday a flight from Enfidha had its 321 replaced by a Transavia B 738 - goodness knows what happened to pax who couldn't get on the smaller 738.

Today there are more problems with both 321s as described in my quoted post from the BRS forum posted earlier today.

It seems to be getting worse: TCX to IBZ due to depart BRS at 0600 and TCX due to depart at 0645 are now shown on the airport's website departures page as - 'Delayed Next Info 1400'.

However, the 1300 to Zante that is normally flown by the aircraft inbound from IBZ is shown as 'boarding' but the 1350 to Dalaman, normally flown by the inbound from PMI, shows no information.

A poster on another forum says that Thomas Cook has five leased aircraft operating today around its system: a Vueling A 320; a Multiflight B 733; a Transavia B 738; a NEOS B 738; an Air Greenland A 330.

Clearly they have problems, either personnel shortage, aircraft serviceability or perhaps a combination of both.

It may well be that either the IBZ or PMI pax were the ones on Multiflight to LBA although again there may have been unlucky ones who couldn't get on the smaller aircraft.

What time did you arrive into LBA?
Also did you notice if the Multiflight Boeing 737-300 9H-MTF was parked on a main apron stand when you was at LBA this evening?

As normally she is parked over on the south side next to the hangar, or in it. Also I understand the (P) in Thomas Cook flight numbers normally means a empty positioning sector.

9H-MTF ferried into LBA from STN empty as TCX913P and parked directly at Multiflight.

It had operated ex BRS on Saturday having ferried down as TCX737P to operate a sweeper service alongside the TRA B738 for the remaining passengers.

I arrived into LBA at around 14:00 today on board G-LSAA from ALC, the Multiflight Aircraft was not on the apron and also clearly visible at the Multiflight hanger was 3 Jet2 aircraft however still no Multiflight aircraft, so maybe It dropped some PAX of and then quickly jetted out to pick some more up?

I did look on the LBA arrivals to see if we had anything diverted in from BRS but nothing showed up.

Looking on twitter, somebody posted '@ThomasCookUK travelling to Bristol airport from Leeds. Have seen no rep or had an explanation of what happened to Bristol flight #terrible'

so it does appear BRS pax landed at Leeds. I'm not sure why they just didn't fly to BRS though?

Possibly the Bristol flight was a smaller aircraft so not everyone could fit on so passengers were put on other flights to the UK with space on and bussed back to Bristol. Probably just a coincidence that they arrived around the same time as the multiflight positioning flight.

There was probably an element of some passengers being put on other flights to the UK although the majority of passengers who should have returned yesterday morning to Bristol from both Ibiza and Majorca with Thomas Cook are going to be collected today with a Titan B 767 operating on behalf of TCX.

Looks like Jet2 maybe leasing in Titan Airways aircraft again. As we have an EXS45A due to position in at 15:05 this afternoon from London Stansted. Its then due to position back to Stansted at 23:50 as EXS46A.

Looks like Eastern Airways are operating a few ad-hoc charters over the next 2 days

Tuesday, June 3rd
EZE9815 ETA 08:40 = From Newcastle
EZE9816 ETD 09:15 = To Geneva
Wednesday, June 4th
EZE9817 ETA 18:45 = From Geneva
EZE9818 ETD 19:15 = To Newcastle

Anyone have an idea as to what aircraft will be operating theses flights?

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
