I was out walking around Swinsty Reservoir in the Washburn Valley, 10 miles NW of LBA this afternoon, and at 3pm the Globemaster turned up overhead, and carried out two orbits bringing it overhead the reservoir, which was great. Following its first run into LBA it made a hard right turn and headed SE down Wharfedale, but still visible to me. Following the 2nd it made a slower right turn, quite low and made a superb banking turn directly over the dam wall, on which I was standing. If only I had my camera with me!RAF C-17B Globemaster ZZ178(Ascotr 820) outbound from LBA hold(1510) for approach and go-around followed by further approach
