Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

There is a Loganair flight on the arrivals and departures board for Tuesday morning aswell to Glasgow this is strange be interesting to know what's going on

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

I've just spotted that too Jonathon3515!

The actual Loganair 'LOG6790/91' I found was the IOM-BHD/BHD-IOM route flight number.

Sounds like the flight number could be re-instated on a commercial route...quite strange....

Just for info everyone.

For anyone going up to LBA to see the Qatar Airways, Airbus A320CJ, A7-MBK that arrived this afternoon. She is expected to stay for 3 days before heading off to Ibiza.

She is not parked at Multiflight. Instead she has been parked onto stand 22 which is on the new apron and is currently nosed in facing towards Golf Course.

I saw it last night as I was onboard TCX8127 on the right hand side, would have been VERY surprised if I hadn't read through the posts in this forum whilst at Palma!

Can't think of any. No major club football matches this week as it's an international break with England home to Wales and Scotland home to Liechtenstein on Tuesday evening in the European Championship qualifying sections.

As for rugby union, the world cup starts next weekend in New Zealand which is where all the rugby playing nations' teams are at present.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Well, cant think then.

Its deffinatly a series of charters, as I doubt flybe would let Loganair run a service without telling anyone or without selling tickets on the website.

Cant be management comming to announce a new route, because why would 3 flights with a standard turn around be needed?

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

By the way guys, it looks like the Loganair flights for tomorrow. Monday 05/09/11 have now disappeared and have been removed from the LBA live arrivals and departure boards.

All 3x flights are still showing for Tuesday still though at this time. I just wonder if this maybe a computer error at LBA for which is recognizing the Glasgow slots for which have already applied for by flybe/Loganair, as we all know they Have been waiting in the wings for the last 3 years to take over both the Glasgow and Edinburgh routes from bmi regional if they ever withdraw from either service.

The other point is that these flights were not showing on Glasgow airports website as well.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

I agree lbaspotter, and I have already made a comment about this on the BMi thread, but I suspect it is an error one way or another, although possibly a sign of things to come with BMi pulling off the route and Loganair taking over. There must be some reason why these flights have come up now and with sequential flight numbers too. They are showing 3 flights tomorrow and again the rest of the week - or at least as far as the LBA website arrivals pages show anyway.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Well Guys and Gals "if you've missed it, you've just missed out" as the Qatar Airways, Airbus A320CJ, A7-MBK has departed LBA at around 19:50 this evening as QAF011 said to be heading for Ibiza

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Expected Movement = Wednesday 14/09/11

Looks like Eastern Airways are operating a charter flight for somebody. Most likley to be operated by an Embraer 135 or Saab 2000 aircraft.

EZE1890 Positions in from Newcastle @ 08:30
EZE1891 Departs out to Geneva @ 09:00

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

For anyone who did't see it yesterday morning it's looking like the Eastern Airways, Embrear 135, G-CGMB will be operating the returning charter from Geneva and back up to Newcastle this evening according to the LBA website's Live Arrivals and Departure pages.

EZE1892 = From Geneva @ 19:35
EZE1893 = To Newcastle @ 20:05

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Thanks very much for the updates Lbaspotter.

Does anyone know why there is a BmiRegional flight (BD9463) at 1415 on Saturday, departing for Blackpool (Squiresgate) Airport...?

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.

Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
