The Strategic Airlines a320 has just flown by on approach.

A PIA 777 has just flown by around 10,000. For a moment I thought it was heading here, but it's MAN bound.

G-CELU has just done an interesting circuit. Departing LBA to Blackpool, on to The Isle Of Man, over to Belfast, up to Glasgow, around Edinburgh, hitting Newcastle and back down to LBA. It looks like she wanted to hit every-base up from LBA...

Search in FlightRadar24 EXS6439 at around 1330UTC and you should see it on the map.

Not too sure aviador, as Tom says it seemed to go to each base airport then back to Leeds. Not too sure if it landed at each base or not! Sure someone on here will be able to explain.

The strange thing is, it didn't land, just hit the airports as if they were checkpoints and then came back to LBA....It's a mystery.

I can confirm it was a Santa flight just seen a picture taken on board the flight, it had Santa onboard and they were chasing 'santa's reindeer' round all the uk bases. The flight as you have already mentioned was operated by g-celu

Strategic Airlines are using Airbus A320 LX-STC operating the returning Lapland Charter for Transun. She is due in at 17:30 as STU865 from Enontekio and then will position out to Doncaster-Sheffield as STU865P at 18:30

Jet2.com are operating a Lapland day trip charter up to Enontekio tomorrow from LBA for Canterbury Travel.

LS6413 Departs LBA @ 08:00 and then LS6414 arrives back into LBA @ 21:55

The next and final planned day trip to Lapland this year will be operated on Friday 23/12/11 to/from Enontekio again, but this time for Transun Holidays. I currently don't know the flight details, but will post ASAP.

Yesterdays Lapland charter from Leeds by jet2 to Enontekio for Canterbury Travel was operated by Boeing 737-300, G-CELU.

It looks like Jet2 are operating the last off this years planned Lapland Charters to Enontekio for Transun tomorrow, Friday, December 23rd operating as follows.

LS6435 Departs LBA @ 07:00 & LS6436 Arrives LBA @ 21:25

Just a little heads up for tomorrow (Wednesday, January 4th)

I understand that Jet2 will take delivery of there latest Boeing 737-800, G-GDFF sometime tomorrow as the aircraft is due to position into Leeds from Norwich.

Thanks for that Lbaspotter. It should be interesting to see another Jet2 B738 and see whether it has winglets or not as well as whether it is in the traditional Jet2 livery or the Jet2Holidays livery!!
