Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

I don't know for sure but im guessing that it could of been a technical issue as it was at FL 350 till the Birmingham area then did a big U turn just south of Birmingham back towards Leeds Bradford.

The flight was been operated by 737 G-CELP

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Jet2 Boeing 737-800, G-GDFF is due to postion back into Leeds tonight from Budapest as LS105C

She is positioning in due to the Leeds base been short of a Boeing 737-300, As G-CELB was taken out off service a few days ago and is having some work done to her in the Multiflight Hanger.

Can confirm that the EXS159 Glasgow to Geveva service been operated by Boeing 737-300QC G-CELP this morning was a Divert into Leeds.

She departed Leeds to continue her journey to Geneva as EXS159A at 08:56.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Suckling Airways/Logan Air, DO328, G-BZOG has just departed London-Stansted as SAY961 and is heading to Leeds/Bradford now with the West Ham footie team onboard as they are playing Leeds Utd tomorrow.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

According to plane finder it' could be jet2s 757 G-LSAJ as it looks to have just left Oslo making its way down to the uk. It's lease may have finished perhaps?

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

G-LSAJ looks to be in action operating the normal B733 route.

She is on approach onto Rwy32 at the moment operating the LS332 inbound flight from Rome, she also operated out of the LBA this morning operating the outbound LS331 flight.

I take it we're short of B733's again, with G-GDFE I noticed positioning out of Belfast heading to Belgrade(?) somewhere...

I have been told Jet2 are moving the fleet around slightly.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

With the Summer timetable kicking in on Sunday, I would imagine a lot of planes will be positioning this weekend.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

G-LSAC coming back from RAK Airways. G-LSAK is the permanent replacement going back out.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Got home yesterday from a family get together and put my scanner on. I have never known such a busy late Sunday afternoon. One in..one out...one in...one out...non stop for ages. Great to see and hear.

Does anyone have a full list of movements for yesterday? I cannot get into the page on the LBA Spotters website for some reason.

Cheers.

Hi bigman

I haven't got yesterdays log sorted yet. But will be doing it very shortly and getting it online it looks like a right maze with all the new alpha numeric callsigns.

Also looks like i,ve got a problem with the website at the moment that isn't helping. So if i can't get it published online this afternoon i'll post it on here for you while i get the problem fixed with the server hosts.

That's great. Much appreciated.

Hi Bigman and all

Futher update
Everyone should now be able to see the movement’s pages on the lbaspotters website.

I’ve updated the logs up to and include Sundays and yesterdays movements. I’ve had to remove all the log-in permissions for the time been for some reason.

Please feel free to let me know if you still having problems viewing the site via the PM system on here or via my private email.

Regards, Lbaspotter

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.

Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
