Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

He's booked on the last Megabus out of London tonight! :dunno:

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

I was thinking the same. It will be through Multiflight if he does fly to LBA.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Looks like Eastern Airways are operating a charter tomorrow evening (Friday 08/06/12) through Leeds-Bradford as follows.

EZE210P ETA 17:00 from Paris Cdg
EZE2101 ETD 20:00 to Aberdeen

The flight was carrying the cast of Emmerdale.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Flybe.com, Dash 8-400, G-ECOB went tech at LBA yesterday afternoon after operating the inbound BEE7JF service from Belfast City. After having a Night stop the aircraft re-positioned back to Belfast City this morning as BEE041D.

Meanwhile Embrear 195, G-FBEI was sent in from Birmingham as BEE4LY to pick up the stranded passengers last night and then operated the delayed BEE7SQ service to Belfast City.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Eastern Airways are to operate the returning Emmerdale crew charter flight from Aberdeen this afternoon with another Saab 2000 visiting.

EZE2102 ETA 14:00
EZE211P ETD 14:30

I also understand that Flybe's leased Fokker 50, PH-KXX will operate this afternoon's BE397/398 Knock-Ireland West service.

BE397 ETA 15:15
BE398 ETD 15:55

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Yes LBAspotter, you are right, it was a Fokker 50 - carrying a plain navy blue tail, similar to how Eastern painted their Dash 8's. It is the first F50 I have seen at LBA in a long time, so nice to see.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

It seems odd that Flybe have had to lease in an extra aircraft when they are allegedly receiving their new E170's. I wonder have they suddenly got a number of aircraft out of service or has their expanded network left them thin on the ground? (Apologies if this is in the wrong section of the forum)

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Ground unit driver had a heart attack at IOM and seriously ran into dash 8 G-JECH rendering it u/s. That is the sole reason for the F50.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

I see that 19:35 BURGAS BGH5598 is showing up for a friday evening departure on the airport's website now, are these flights actually operating, i never seen there aircraft taking off from the airport.

I'm sure it operated last week. Perhaps somebody can confirm.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

I thought it had operated for the past 2 Friday's, although I haven't seen it myself given it comes in at tea time now. I would think lbaspotter will tell us.

Yes I can confirm that the weekly Balkan Holidays Air charter flight (BGH5597/5598) from/to Bourgas has visited LBA twice now. The first service was operated on Friday, June 1st, by Airbus A320, LZ-BHB. Meanwhile the second service last week, Friday June 8th was operated by Airbus A320, LZ-BHC.

Hope that helps.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

I don't know if this is an IT error from LBA but - it looks as though Jet2 have an extra departure to Palma today in the form of a 1420 departure as LS531. As far as I am aware this flight number belongs to the Newcastle-Palma flight normally operated by the B733.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Just to confirm it is a Newcastle flight operating out of Leeds.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Jet2 Leeds based Boeing 737-300, G-CELC is out of action tech for some reason, Hence Blackpool based Boeing 737-300, G-CELK positioned into Leeds-Bradford yesterday afternoon as LS031R to help out.

It now looks like the Newcastle base Boeing 757-200, G-LSAG has also gone tech this morning. So with Jet2 having a spare Boeing 757-200 sat at Leeds this afternoon due to only 2 of the 3 based 757's aircraft been required in service (due the Bodrum flights not started yet). The outbound LS531 passengers are been bused down the A1 to be flown out to Palma from Leeds.

The inbound LS532 service will go direct to Newcastle before the aircraft re-positions back to Leeds later this evening as LS042A.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Thanks for that!

Although it is a pain for passengers to be bussed, I suppose it was a good opportunity for Newcastle passengers to experience LBA's new terminal... ;)

Nothing like showing the competition what else is on offer!

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

As expected Jet2's Leeds based Boeing 757-200, G-LSAH has done the Newcastle-Palma LS531 service.

Meanwhile it looks like today's Belfast service has been re-scheduled by Jet2 due to the aircraft shortages. Belfast based Boeing 737-300, G-CELU operated the LS328 into Leeds at 12:00 midday. She then has gone onto operate the LS315/316 Paris-Cdg service's before it goes back to Belfast-Int'l as scheduled operating the LS327 service.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Boeing 737-300, G-CELK has just positioned out to Belfast Int'l as LS042A. So the Leeds base will be short off an Boeing 737-300 tomorrow morning. The good news is that it looks like Jet2 are going to position in an aircraft in from Manchester as LS031R to help out here tomorrow morning.

Meanwhile the Leeds based Boeing 757-200, G-LSAH is now also positioning back from Newcastle as LS043A this evening after operating the LS531/532 service to Palma.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
