The 737BBJ N7600K Departed LBA at 20:30 heading out to Baden Baden in Germany so was only sat at multiflight for about a hour.

For anyone who didn't see the American Registered, Boeing 737BBJ, N6700K at LBA last night, I've got good news for you.

You've all got a second chance to see it as it's coming back into LBA tomorrow afternoon again, Saturday 30/06/12. ETA 13:30 - ETD 14:15

Yes it is the start of the student charters, Today's flight been operated by Mistral Air's Boeing 737-300, EI-DVA, Currently working inbound flying over London to Leeds as MSA1053.

Jet2 are leasing in a Swiftair MD-83 this sunday to operate out of LBA, due to planned maintenance on the 737-300 fleet.

It is planned to operate LS241/2 LBA-NCE-LBA and then LS227/8 LBA-PMI-LBA, it is expected to be EC-KDX however I'm sure one of the other MD-80's operated by Swiftair may appear instead.

Are these aircraft needed as an extra result of G-GDFH not being available or is it just unscheduled emergency maintenance that has caused this?

Due to aircraft shortages in the Boeing 737-300 fleet Jet2 are subbing in aircraft to cover LBA flying programme.

First up is Hamburg Airways, Airbus A319, D-AHHA which is due in tomorrow to operate the Paris-Cdg, EXS315/316 service.

EXS041R = ETA 09:10 from Münster Osnabrück
EXS042R = ETD 15:30 to Münster Osnabrück

And just to add a little more info to what lbia wrote earlier. Here are the positioning flight times for Sunday's Swiftair's MD-83's. They should either be using EC-JUF or EC-KCX as you rightly point out to operate the EXS241/242 Nice and EXS227/228 Palma.

EXS041R = ETA 08:10 from Madrid
EXS042R = ETD 21:45 to Madrid

I understand G-GDFH is due in Leeds Friday and will go straight into the hanger to fix some issues with it

The Hamburg Airways Airbus A319 is just on approach now into LBA. As expected it is D-AHHB...

Looks like her and the Ryanair were initially going for an arrival on 14, but both have circled back to 32..!

Mistral Air are today using Boeing 737-300, EI-DVA on the MSA1053 charter flight from Rome.

She is currently flying over Mansfield at 17,000ft and is due into LBA at 13:20.

Decided to make the long trip from the coast to get the Mistral Air (and try out new lens) with the added bonus of the Hamburg A/W A319.

Just found out that a Swiftair, MD82 (Mad-Dog), EC-JUF will be subbing for Jet2 tonight due to the problems with LBA based Boeing 737-300, G-GDFK earlier this morning.

LS198 - ETA 20:25 - LS197 - ETD 21:00

The aircraft positioned from Madrid to Ibiza and is now operating the inbound LS198 service from Ibiza to Leeds as scheduled. It will then go on to operate the delayed outbound LS197 back to Ibiza before then positioning back from Ibiza to Madrid in the early hours.

It looks like our very reliable information suppliers lbia and lbaspotter have got it right again as both the Swiftair [Jet 2 sub charter] and Alitalia [Italian student charter] are on the arrivals board for today. I worked for Swiftair for 10 months on secondment from my present company so its my nostalgia moment coming up today.
