Thanks for that photo lbaspotter - I would have thought the livery would have changed over so many years but its just the same as it was in the late 80's! It has to be one of the 'plainest' and cheapest liveries of any airline, but nice to see at LBA nontheless

The Adria Airways, Airbus A319, S5-ARR which was due to position in from Farnborough tonight for a night-Stop has been cancelled. It will now position into Leeds at 08:10 tomorrow morning as ADR586 to operate the outbound ADR584 to Marrakesh at 08:35

I guess the crew must think its a better night out down south in Farnborough/Aldershot instead of coming up to good old cold Leeds.

Eastern Airways, Embrear 145, G-EMBP has just positioned in from Liverpool as EZE858P to operate this evenings EZE71LK service to Aberdeen via Teeside.

Meanwhile Ryanair Boeing 737-800WL, EI-DYO has just positioned in from Cork as RYR13P and will become the 3rd LBA based aircraft along with current based EI-EMP & EI-EVM.

It was nice to see a FlyBe ER195 in yesterday lunchtime, namely G-FBEH. I wish we could see these more regularly.

Well just a quick reminder that we have a few extra aircraft movements planned at LBA over the next few days as follows:

ETA 10:30 - YW2222 = from Paris (Air Nostrum, CRJ9000)

ETA 23:15 - JP586 - from Brussles (Adria Airways, A319)

Thursday 29/11/12
ETD 07:40 - LS087 = To New York-Newark (Jet2.com, B752WL)
ETD 08:35 - JP584 = To Marrakesh (Adria Airways, A319)

ETA 08:00 - LS088 = From New York-Newark (Jet2.com, B752WL)
ETA 09:10 - ENT---- = From Glasgow (Enter Air, B734)
ETD 10:00 - ENT---- = To Enontekio (Enter Air, B734)

The 2x Air Nostrums (Iberia Regional) CRJ900's arrived at LBA this morning as expected..

EC-JZT = ANE2220 Landed 10:10 - (Parked Stand 18)
EC-JTU = ANE2222 Landed 10:14 - (Parked Stand 17)

Both aircraft are night stopping....

Heads up guys and girls. One to watch out for over the next few days i think....

Thomson Airways Boeing 757-200WL, G-OOBH has just departed Birmingham and is positioning into Leeds as TOM868F as normal to operate this weeks charters to Sharm el Sheikh tomorrow and Tenerife on Friday.

But there is something quite different about her which you will noticed if you manage to see her over the next few days. That's because she will become the first aircraft in the fleet to visit Leeds/Bradford wearing the new Thomson "Dreamliner" livery.

The PIA flights tend to fly through headwinds during the inbound flights would may be the reason to why they tend to be over 30 minutes late.

Thomson have sent in B757 G-OOBH into Leeds to operate the Sharm el sheikh flight today and i presume the Tenerife flight tomorrow. G-OOBH is painted in the new Thomson dreamliner livery so it'll be a good chance for a photo opportunity if anyone is around tomorrow morning?

Probably an E3D Sentry if its an exercise on or could be a tanker. The military have been very active today:)

PIA775 Is Late again Just Approaching LBA ( 17:10 ) How come The PIA Is Always Late? It was due in at 16:30!

The reason to it was that it left Islamabad 1 hour later scheduled to leave 1230 time of departure 1330

That is Pakistan time

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
