OE-LDF A319 Austrian Airlines [ landed runway 14 at 0835 today ]
G-RUBO E505 Phenom of Hanger 8 [ landed runway 14 around 0930 and departed around 1100 today ]

Groundhog day this!
Any possibility the phenom could have changed reg to G-ITSU as I noticed movements at those rough times?

It's probably a school trip to visit Auschwitz. If it's back the same evening that's almost certainly the reason.

Similar school trips via KRK have been operating from a number of regional airports in recent years.

Yes it is for Auschwitz, I sore a post on Twitter from a Leeds School telling students to be at the airport no later then 5!

I'd have loved to have seen all these parked up. Or even a photo. I bet LBA has seen nothing like it!

It has seen far more than this nightstopping in the past - around 1992 I think (not sure which year) when every airport South of LBA was closed with fog. We had much of the MAN based 1-11 and ATP fleet here overnight, several Aer Lingus 737's, plus several Dan Air types. We had diverts from MAN, BHX, LGW, LTN and the best was a Swissair A310 that had to park up on the 32 loop all night. I posted a photo of this aircraft parked there in the photos. Not only we have aircraft parked across much of the airfield, many came and left before closure and we turned down numerous others due to being full, so they had to go up to NCL and the Scottish airports. From memory, between around 1600 and a delayed closure (the airport closed at 2300 in those days) we had in excess of 50 diverts. I have never seen anything like it since, and I probably never will.

That was a great night. It was also the night that Capital brought in their second 146. The A310 I think diverted from Man and was offered BMX then chose LBA as it's auto land was not working.

I don't know if it's happened before, but this evenings Heathrow flight is scheduled to be an A320, currently down as G-EUYB.

Move 19/02/14
Well the little visitor we had this morning seems to have gone unnoticed. As Widerøe Dash 8-103, LN-WIH arrived at around 09:50 this morning using flight no WIF8811 inbound from Oslo. It then departed back out at 11:25 using flight no "WIF7811" heading north towards Scotland. So most likely going back home...

Heads up
I understand that an Enhance Aero Group Embraer 145 (F-HELA or F-HAFS) is due in this coming Saturday and will night stop before departing back out on Sunday.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
