Monarch Airlines switched the Leeds/Bradford based aircraft this morning on the Faro rotation. After a long stay Airbus A320-200, G-OZBX finally left whilst inbound was Airbus A320-200-SL, G-ZBAB coming home to roost, She's flying her final few weeks for Monarch here where she started 2 years before.

Such a shame. AA and AB have performed exceptionally well from Leeds' challenging runway. I hope the older variants have an equally successful year.

Another Jet2 Boeing 737-800WL, G-GDFP positioned out of Leeds to Oslo this evening as NAX8593 operating on lease to Norwegian Air Shuttle joining G-JZHA which has been Oslo based since Tuesday last week due to the on going strike action.

Some more Enter Air flights for next winter 2016 added by Transun Holidays as part of there Arctic Breaks programme.

THU 18/02/16 = ETD 10:00 - To Kiruna
SUN 21/02/16 = ETA 18:00 - From Kiruna
SUN 06/03/16 = ETD 10:00 - To Kiruna
SUN 13/03/16 = ETA 18:00 - From Kiruna

RAF Linton on Ouse based Tucano ZF264 has just done a 32 overshoot as "LOP35"

Also looks like Eastern Airways are using there Embraer 145, G-CGWV on the Leeds based Jet flights instead of the normal smaller Embraer 135's

As predicted a few weeks ago Jet2 are operating a charter flight to/from Perpignan tomorrow taking the Leeds Rhino's RFLC team down to play there super league game against Catalan Dragons RLFC. Dont know the aircraft type been used but in previous years they have tended to operate a Boeing 737-300.

EXS6020 = ETD 08:00 / EXS6021 = ETA 23:30

Next Thursday, April 4th should see an Air France Hop Embraer 145 operating into LBA from Perpignan as the Catalan Dragon's are due to play against Wakefield Wildcats.

Today's Easyjet flight from Geneva has been upgraded from an A319 to an A320, G-EZUG has just landed now.

A C130 landed early hours Monday and parked on NOVEMBER I think that was Canadian, pilot sounded Canadian to me, couldn't quite understand callsign sounded like 'carnforth' or maybe 'can-force'. Anyone know what it's all about?

The LBA arrivals board is showing a flight due in at 1300 from Dakar, with a PVT flight code - which from memory may be Privatair (I remember them as they used to ferry Leeds United around Europe in the good days on their rather posh 757s). Does anyone know what this flight is and the aircraft type? Thanks in anticipation.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
