Looks like Mistral Air might be coming back to Leeds again this Thursday 06/08/15 as the following Italian student flight details are showing on the airports website live arrivals and departure pages.

MSA1841 - ETA 12:30 / MSA1842 - ETD 13:20 = From/To Rome Fiumicino

Mistral Air have operated Boeing 737-400, EI-ELZ today instead of the usual Boeing 737-300, EI-DVA for a change as well.

This hasn't happened in a while. British Airways sent in Airbus A320, G-EUUY on this moring London Heathrow shuttle SHT1340/21Z rotation.

Makes a change as recently it's been normal when there an A319 short they just cancel.

Flew back from Stockholm Arlanda last Sunday on UY. Hope the reason for the Leeds appearence was a healthy load.

Unfortunately a 319 could have handled the load just fine with high 90's each way.

I don't recall one ever gracing the apron.

Monarch Airlines Airbus A321, G-OZBI just positioned from Birmingham as MON516P

Monarch Airlines aircraft G-MRJK, which has been based at Leeds has just departed LBA for STN as MON505P

Another Monarch change. Airbus A320, G-OZBW just positioning in from Birmingham now as MON447P. Guess the replacement Airbus A321, G-OZBI which positioned in earlier this afternoon will be heading back to Birmingham shortly.

Leeds based Jet2 Boeing 757-200WL, G-LSAC went tech in Alicante earlier today after operating the LS271 service. Looks like she's still there as it's still not positioned back to the UK this evening.
Alicante based Boeing 737-300WL, G-GDFL brought home half the stranded inbound LS272 passengers before positioning back empty to Alicante as LS43A, Meanwhile Leeds based Boeing 737-300, G-CELD was positioned out empty as EXS42A to pick up the remaining inbound stranded passengers and returned to Leeds as LS272A.

All in all well done Jet2 in getting your passengers back without major delays!

I heard an aircraft taking off (possibly landing) at 03:24 this morning. No record on airport web site. Anyone know what it was please?
