RAF Yeadon active once again! Here's one photo I managed to get of the RAF C17 Globemaster III, ZZ173 using callsign " Ascot822" from Stanningley which has just done 3 missed approaches on runway 32.

The outbound will depart LBA on Friday, July 1st to be operated by Dutch airline Transavia. The inbound flight is due back into LBA on Thursday, July 7th and at this time is listed as follows (Operator to be confirmed)

Did the Air Europa flight to PMI operate this morning? It wasn't on the LBA arrivals/departures board.

It did operate in the afternoon arriving just after 14:00, I wasn't sure why this was but it was appearing on the LBA website and flightradar with a 14:10 arrival as well however the timetable on Thomson's website states it always operates in the morning.

Perhaps a good load and connected with the World Triathalon event over the weekend?
It could well possibly that reason White Heather, But also know in the past that the ground handling company at LBA have requested British Airways to use an Airbus A320 so to get some extra baggage bins up here from LHR.

Nice to see Austrian Airlines using its Fokker 70 jets this summer again as OE-LFQ just operated this afternoon's first of the summer 2016 seasons AUA2587/2588 Innsbruck charters.
Meanwhile Balkan Holidays are sending in Airbus A320, LZ-BHJ on this afternoons BGH5569/5570 Bourgas charter

Also worth noting that Aurginy used ATR72, G-DWDB on todays Guernsey scheduled service

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
