There are about 80 UK troops hanging around Multiflight awaiting a Hercules to take them to Denmark.
I spoke to one of them and apparently the aircraft assigned to the flight is u/s.
Watch this space !!!

The squaddies eventually got away a few days late. They did apparently do wonders for the Multiflight cafe takings over the last few days..with a few additional trips to Morrisons needed by the cafe staff.

Hawk XX258(Pirate 09) made an ILS and overshoot on runway 14 at 0955

For record, Tucano ZF140 made an ILS with touch and go at 2210 last night

CRJ-200 OY-RJC, using call-sign "Backbone 211" just turning finals runway 14 inbound from Oslo(1500).
The aircraft is due to night-stop on Multiflight, joining Challenger 9H-VFF and Global Express N801NP which are already parked there.

Tucano ZF239(LOP 26) just carrying out overshoot from ILS(2120), ZF515(LOP 51) carried out overshoot 20 minutes ago. Gulfstream 5 N555GV just starting up for departure to Stansted.

CRJ 200 OY-RJC departed to Gatwick earlier taking Huddersfield Town for their match tomorrow night with Brighton. It is due to return around midnight tomorrow.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
