Yeah I suspect you right "jason1-11" as it looks like the outbound FR9079 to Alicante has a big delay according to the airport's departure board.

Looks like it will have to divert then on its return leg as White Heather pointed out the other day the runway is closed at night for the lighting upgrade.

My wife was on the FR9079, they were actually sat on the plane then got told they had to get off as there was a technical issue which was a valve issue of some description. They eventually did leave at just gone eight o'clock on the original plane that was fixed.

I think because it was technically off-schedule it diverted. This will be the case for any delayed flights after the new curfew I've understood.
