At last we have Luxembourg flying to and from brum. I think we had Rotterdam before VLM maybe? Important economic Centre so should work. Good luck.Bump
Rotterdam and Luxembourg start tomorrow.
It may be just for CWL as the airport has been after Rome for quite a while but Rome is also a big market in itself which doesn't have a regional airline that flies it from BHX and MAN, it's all LCC and Flybe do have a codeshare partnership with Etihad who own Alitalia so i'm wondering if a potential codeshare with them could be in offing? Similar to what happended with Air Berlin who are also owned by Etihad! Or maybe i'm thinking too much!hmmmm.... its pushing their 'regional' reach, though I know they fly BHX-Corsica which isn't much further...
an interesting route!
I think Flybe will always have 80-100 seater aircraft and I believe they are trying to become a feeder airline for many bigger airlines without a similar operation in Europe.I dread the day they consider acquiring an Airbus or Boeing as this may signal an over reach of activities....your thoughts please....!!
Finnair at the launch of winter 2016/17 season (from 30OCT16) expanded codeshare partnership with flyBe, covering a number of routes between UK and Europe. Planned new codeshare routes include the following.
Finnair operated by flyBe
Birmingham – Amsterdam
Birmingham – Berlin Tegel
Birmingham – Dusseldorf
Birmingham – Paris CDG
Could be part of the codeshare agreement they have with Air France.Similarly to MAN, BHX to BOD is showing on the FLYBE search engine from 26MAR17, but currently not able to select non-stop flights.
Could be something.
