For some good news about Turkey maybe you should be looking on the beach!!
Is that cryptic or should we looking at On the Beach ?
Yes you should if you want to find some extra Freebird charters
Looking at the TUI timetables for July Antalya is 5 x weekly and Dalaman 5 x weekly. From the timings only the Saturday Antalya appears to be operated by an away-based aircraft. Izmir was announced as a new TUI route for summer 2020 but it's not yet in the TUI web timetable.

easyJet is still showing up to 4 x weekly to Dalaman and 3 x weekly to Bodrum next summer with nothing for Antalya.

Thomas Cook had 5 x weekly to both Dalaman and Antalya this summer so not all that has yet been replaced...........unless the Freebird flights mentioned are for other tour operators or they are for TUI and have yet to appear in TUI's web timetable.

I noticed a free bird Antalya on the On the Beach website. I’d assumed it was the same as the TBA for tui on the sat. If they are different flights then that’s good news

Bristol is marked on that map as a current destination plus the press release states that they plan to fly to 20 exclusive Mediterranean destinations. I think the map is misleading

I think Marko1 is correct, the map has probably been released by the airport, not Transavia.
The map is actually showing the current destinations (BRS - easyJet, CPH - Norwegian, DUB - Aer Lingus etc) and the new routes all seem to be to Southern Europe and North Africa. False alarm?!

With easyJet's 2 x weekly Montpellier from June again next summer I can't see room for another airline on the route.

Probably more chance this side of the Severn

Bloomin heck, Jerry. I didn't know you were fluent in Icelandic.

I was thinking the same LY. Incidentally I can’t see any mention of any suggested destinations in the article. Not sure how brs or edi has been concluded from the article.

Not concluding anything just saying BRS may be a possibility even if remote.

It’s worth a wish I suppose. Well done on the translating. I found Icelandic very hard to even attempt when we were recently there

EDI didn't come from the article it's the fact Icelandair have applied for slots there in S20 so more of a hint that it could well be EDI that's the new Euro route.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
