Interesting that it's MUC and not FRA that LH is setting up at NCL early next year. Useful as an easyJet route from BRS to MUC might be it would fall well short of a LH-base operation with its connectivity although FRA would be even better for that.
It's unlikely that the shadow of easyJet would cause LH to think twice before beginning a BRS route. If that is not the case then it's a concern if such an airline as Lufthansa was to be put off by easyJet's presence. That would suggest it would be desperately difficult for the airport to attract any 'legacy' airline onto important business routes that also permit worldwide connectivity.
I'm not yet persuaded that is the case though.
