Thanks Jerry. Seems odd to increase Dalaman from 2 to 3 x weekly from 14 October, and looking at the actual website routesonline shows Antalya not commencing until 13 October. The latter might be a mistake. Nevertheless, to begin or increase routes to Turkey in mid October raises eyebrows. Not sure if this has been posted before but according to routeonline these are the routes that the Smartlynx A320 will operate in Summer 2018.
Antalya 1 weekly
Bourgas 1 weekly
Dalaman 2 weekly (3 weekly from the 14th October)
Girona 1 weekly
Iraklion 1 weekly
Larnaca 1 weekly
Mahon 1 weekly
Malta 1 weekly
Palma de Mallorca 1 weekly
Paphos 1 weekly
Prevesza 1 weekly
Tenerife South 1 weekly
Zakynthos 1 weekly

It might be that they takeover the frequencies from the TCX A321s in October until the lease ends at the end of the month. Thanks Jerry. I wondered if it was a brief increase for half-term school holidays but that doesn't seem to occur until the last week in October.
That would make sense because I think there are more than 2 Dalamans throughout the summer. It might be that they takeover the frequencies from the TCX A321s in October until the lease ends at the end of the month.
The last occasion that I can remember a third-party aircraft based at BRS for a season on behalf of one of the based carriers was in the early years of this century when XL had two aircraft based at BRS, one of their own B738s and the other an Air Malta A320, which arrangement lasted for two or three summers.According to a poster on the other forum the Smartlynx A320 for Bristol will be YL-LCL and will arrive on 30th April.
I do wonder if in the long run TCX will look at basing a 3rd TCX A321 instead of the Smartlynx. The last occasion that I can remember a third-party aircraft based at BRS for a season on behalf of one of the based carriers was in the early years of this century when XL had two aircraft based at BRS, one of their own B738s and the other an Air Malta A320, which arrangement lasted for two or three summers.
That is the plan.It will be sooner rather than later.I do wonder if in the long run TCX will look at basing a 3rd TCX A321 instead of the Smartlynx.
