Holiday Extras signs major parking technology deal with Cardiff Airport

Holiday Extras, the UK’s market leading holiday add-ons technology provider, has signed a major contract with Cardiff Airport to supply a suite of parking technology solutions that have already introduced operational efficiencies, commercial booking growth and enhanced the customer experience.
Over the last three years, Holiday Extras has grown its suite of parking technology solutions through a combination of acquisitions and innovations, including the launch of Park-It and the successful acquisition of Chauntry in November 2017. Over the same period Cardiff Airport has expanded its route network further and seen significant passenger growth.
Cardiff Airport’s new Meet and Greet parking service was launched in July this year using Holiday Extras’ Park-It technology, which assists with vehicle movements, block parking, vehicle inspections and audits. In just a few short months since its launch, Meet and Greet parking at Cardiff Airport has secured almost 2,000 bookings and, last month, reported a significant on-airport parking customer feedback rating.
Park-It has therefore been implemented as the operational system for Cardiff Airport’s parking products. In addition, Cardiff Airport has implemented Chauntry Parkspace - also from Holiday Extras - to easily maintain availability across all car parking products, and has launched a white label website based on Holiday Extras’ booking engine and tech platform, improving conversion and website performance.
“All of these parking technology solutions from Holiday Extras have been key to making this partnership such a success”, said Spencer Birns, Commercial Director at Cardiff Airport. “It makes sense to source all of our operational and front-end technology from a single trusted partner, and Holiday Extras stood out as the clear market leader and an expert in this field.”
Matthew Paxton, Chief Commercial Officer at Holiday Extras, commented, “Our business has spent a number of years building and acquiring the portfolio of technology solutions that we knew our airport partners needed to help meet their own commercial, strategic and customer objectives. We’re delighted to announce such a significant partnership with the national airport of Wales and a key gateway to the UK, that makes use of our entire portfolio, and are confident we’ll soon be announcing more.”

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
