It won't be cheap, and certainly not needed (yet!). It would come in very handy for special events, but wouldn't make a return just for that. If I remember rightly, TLY, did you comment on how much the new stand cost at BRS?
I think when the masterplan comes out, it would be similar in design to the previous, where another West pier would be built with stands facing north/south rather than east/west on the current 6pack. That would likely mean having to use the grassed area between Echo taxiway and the terminal.

I don't know how much the new stands at Bristol cost to build. A couple of years ago they created three stands at the western end of the apron but had to excavate a small hill to do so, therefore the cost would probably have been above the norm. Last winter they built another new stand just to the east of the terminal which might have been more in line with a 'typical' stand cost (if there is such a thing) but again I can't find any indication of cost.

Today's Barcelona flight will be operated by an A321 EC-MJR according to FR24. A nice change!

I see the vueling tech aircraft from Wednesday EC LRY is going into BAMC for repairs.
Funny I asked the question the other week as who repaired vueling tech aircraft in CWL.Vueling normally send over engineers to do repairs if job is not too big.
All I can say with this tech aircraft it must be a big or heavy job for BAMC doing repairs.

I believe Vueling have flown in engineers to do the work, so whatever they have to do may well require the use of certain equipment that BAMC have.

Vueling used to use BCT so may now use Storm. They can do basic line engineering only.

Vueling in past have used British Airways engineers from Heathrow.

The aircraft itself is only Slightly nose in on the middle bay of BAMC which Is probably being used to shelter a sensitive part from the rate Cardiff sun.

I'm unsure if it's related but a Metroliner was parked next to the Vueling when I came into the office this morning and is still there.

Sometimes specialist jobs needs a specialist dedicate which may have been brought to Cardiff but not necessarily.

As I type it's just being pulled out of the hangar.

This morning i had a twitter conversation with someone about Vuelings reliability at CWL as the last 2 days has seen the Alicante flight delayed by 2 hours and the poster was adamant that this was happening all the time so it prompted me to have a look. Was this person a Mr Sedgebeer? I know he was vocal on the subject but can't remember if it was on ***Links to other Social Media platforms are not permitted***- or twitter. If so then I think he was unlucky as flight was delayed both outbound and on the return.
