It's good to see Vueling staying the same through out the winter, let's hope Ryanair will add something more for this winter as well, they seem to have expanded at some airports where their winter schedule has already been loaded, e.g. Exeter and Leeds Bradford. CWL really needs more winter schedules.

I know it's probably a long shot but i wonder if it might be possible we'll see Vueling return back too 4 routes next summer. Alicante, Barcelona, Malaga and Palma de Mallorca?

It would be a good boost for CWL, there is no route to BCN at present and Palma is not served by any low cost flight only airline, if Vueling is not interested, perhaps Ryanair could be persuaded to reintroduce the routes.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see BCN back with VY, the route looked to have been building nicely until they butchered the timings and along with a poor summer of delays saw the end of that, I’d have thought PMI was a certainty with VY or FR, routes that provide inbound tourism rather than just bucket and spade destinations would be a big boost I think going forward

Keeping the fingers crossed for both too return, especially as it seems odd that there's no LCC PMI. It would also be good too see Vueling grow again instead of the reductions we've had lately.

Disappointing news, CWL's winter services could really do with a boost, perhaps Qatar reactivation of the Doha service will help.

Apparently Vueling will release Summer 2024 from Cardiff in about 2 weeks time. Fingers crossed we'll see PMI return!

Just too add to this, the return of a low cost carrier on PMI is CWLs no 1 priority, the loss of 4 weekly flights this year has resulted in the loss of over 18,000 passengers so far this year on this route. That's a decent chunk of lost revenue for the airport. So hopefully we'll see either Vueling, Ryanair or a new carrier take this route on for Summer 2024.

It would be really disappointing if Alicante remained 3 weekly, hopefully it's just the beginning of Vuelings schedule upload.

Not sure we’re even going to see AGP return at this rate. I know it’s still early days and lots can change, but them leaving it out of S24 release 1 isn’t looking good…

Only positive is FR have increased to 3 x weekly

It would be a very sad sight if we see VY down to just 1 route given in their heyday they had 4 routes and a daily presence at CWL!

It is a concern and tbh considering that Alicante is only 3 weekly if they go down to one route how long till they just pull that. It does seem like everything is being left to the last minute.

Worth noting last year AGP didn’t go on sale until 9th November, so a little bit of time yet 🤞

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
