Seems Cardiff undergoing a bit of tweaking too, as I can't seem to book Barcelona or Palma flights in 2017. Guess they are being re-timed or something and will be re-added in time.
On another site a poster said that BCN went up to 5 weekly during June July and August with the addition of a sunday flight but then it was dropped. Hopefully by the time Summer 17 comes round we'll have an increase though considering Flybe are doing FCO next year I don't think we'll get any new destinations from Vueling.

BCN seems to be growing in popularity. easyJet is going double daily from BRS next summer (except Saturdays which are once daily) on a point to point route. With Vueling's connectivity at BCN the scope is there for more flights.

When I used easyJet a couple of years ago to BCN we used the dreadful low-cost airline terminal - one of the worst airport experiences it's been my misfortune to endure. I take that Vueling uses the main terminal.

Yes hopefully it'll go 5 weekly with A320's. Though i would love it to go daily with a A319 i don't think Vueling will do that. Vueling are in Terminal 1 which is the newest bit and seems to be mostly long haul and non LCC airlines. Terminal 2 seems to mostly LCC's though part of it is closed for refurbishment according to the website. Barcelona itself is a lovely city and definitely a place i'll go back to!

Well hopefully they'll sell well and lead to extra flights if not by Vueling then maybe by Ryanair.
there was a lot of bad feeling last year with them doing cdg. they did it to make a weekend of it.but the prices were out of this world. in the end I think most went from brs with easy as they put extra flights on.if you look at the vueling thread on another forum that covers wales, have a look and all will tell you about it.i know vueling did not make it a day return. all fr do with the rugby flights is where ever the irish are playing and that's it.

Alicante for April has gone up to 5 weekly Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Back to 4 weekly in May. PMI is 4 weekly, AGP is 3 and BCN is 3. If the sales go well could we see Alicante go to 6 weekly or even daily sometime in S17?

Certainly more than a possibility.

Just to clarify the system still shows Palma, Barcelona and Malaga at 4 x weekly same as this year but oddity seems Alicante where for two weeks show 5 x weekly in April only.

Barcelona was previously displaying 5 x weekly for S2017 but that changed back to 4 x weekly now.

Looks like Vueling have changed their S17 timetable.
BCN is 3 weekly April and May. 4 weekly June to September. 3 weekly October.
PMI is 4 weekly April to October
ALC is 5 weekly April to October
AGP is 3 weekly in April and 5 weekly May to September 4 weekly in October.
They seem to changing things on a weekly basis so hopefully we'll see more increases over the winter and it will lead to 5 weekly on all routes between May and September.

Vueling have increased the amount of seats on offer for S17 by 16% compared to S16. 190,812 seats will be on sale between April and October. Alicante will be up to 5 weekly, Barcelona 4 weekly, Malaga 5 weekly and Palma Majorca 4 weekly and they will also be doing special rugby flights to Paris Orly and Rome FCO in February and March.

Apologies if this has already been covered but Airlineroute are reporting the Cardiff - Orly will now be served for the whole summer season from March 28th. Days 1,3 and 4 on an A321.

The airline in summer 2017 season will also expand Paris Orly – Cardiff route, previously served on limited-time basis on selected dates. This route will be served for entire summer season from 28MAR17 with Airbus A321, 3 times a week on Day 134.

That's excellent news for CWL. It suggests that Vueling might slowly turn up on other routes. ORY is more useful for some areas around Paris than CDG and it will also create another hub.

That is great news and it shows they are willing to do routes that are not Spanish and I wonder if they could potentially look at AMS in the future? Plus routes like Paris would be needed if they were to base at CWL. Also part of me wonders if they may want to target pax from across the bridge as BRS only has a daily CDG flight.

Slight correction - Bristol has three CDG flights each day: one by easyJet and two by bmi regional (fewer of bmir at weekends).

Some passengers to and from the West Country might well use the Vueling service. I have no doubt that some already use the Flybe CDG route if for whatever reason they don't, won't or can't use the BRS flights.

Whether the number is substantial is probably doubtful.

I can't think of any airline that would operate to BRS from ORY. easyJet only operates to continental Europe from ORY so if Vueling/CWL believes there is a decent pot of passengers that could be enticed they'd better start advertising on the English side of the estuary.

What ought to be emphasised is ORY's connection possibilities.

Air France codeshare possibly?

Vueling does have a good network from ORY plus i wonder if you can access Open Skies NYC routes as well? They may also want to attract families going to disneyland as well.

I contacted Vueling on Twitter and they say Orly is available only via BCN. So i wonder if Routes Online have got this wrong?

RoutesOnline are very unusually wrong, however it would seem like they've jumped the gun on this one given that the fact they aren't even on the VY website, and even when they are via BCN they're on a different day to what RoutesOnline state.

It's a bit of a weird one. Have they jumped the gun on an announcement or just got it completely wrong? BHX is on sale but ORY is only via BCN like their twitter said for CWL. Fingers crossed for them jumping the gun on an announcement!

I have checked VYs website and the flights are bookable. However they are all via BCN. I thought it was a bit odd as there has been no official announcement by CWL or VY.

Vueling stats October 2016.

Alicante 5757 average pax load 169 LF 91%
Barcelona 2672 average pax load 103 LF 55%
Malaga 5031 average pax 157 LF 84%
Palma de Mallorca 3182 average pax 177 LF 95%

I wonder if bcn is a worry to vueling with load factors that low. mind you we don't know yield.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
