Is there a freight schedule for DSA? some really good metal in and out of Donny atm!
AAL will be back tomorrow, usually gets back to Donny any time between 9.00 & 14.00. Check flight radar in the morning, 10.5 hr flight from PEK so plenty of time to catch it en-route, but it’s recently started arriving from the east over Lincolnshire, whereas for a while it came down the middle of the country over Leeds.

TF-AAL 747 is over the North Sea approaching Newcastle on its way in to DSA. Should be coming down over Leeds around 9.40 ish.

After all these weeks, I have finally managed to get TF-AAL which has just flown over the top heading North.

Some really good overheads so far today:

TF-AAL – Air Atlanta B747F heading out from DSA
N896FD – Fedex B777F heading North
86-0266 – USAF C17 heading East
144617 – Canadian Air Force CC144C Challenger

Best of the lot today was VP-BCV B747 of Silkway that went over 10 minutes ago..again out of Donny.

I live fairly close to the UPTON departure route from DSA, and had superb views of all 3 747’s today. Yesterday morning TF-AAL came in from China & turned onto a downwind leg straight above the house at around 6,000’. Just reminded me what I’ve always found so awesome about aviation.

TF-AAL just about to pass over Upton inbound

I saw 2 trails heading NW and checked and found one of them was ZK315. Couldn't find the other. It was around 11:10 that I saw them.

It must have been the same two but they were heading easterly at that time when I saw them, definitely something different to look at as we don't usually see them at the best of times.

Passing directly overhead the LBA at 1920 flying at 32,000' heading North is French Air Force Airbus A.340 "75" (CTM 1013) heading Northwest

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
