Not the best of starts. It's only just landed at 1935 hrs. Always a risk though when they still don't have a full fleet so no spare aircraft if anything goes wrong. Agree with all that, but makes me wonder if LBA have offered Flybe any kind of insentitves too?Flybe cant afford to subsidise to this extent, they dont have the resources. Im hoping the fact LHR wasnt canned before now is because forward bookings are better or a code share with BA or Star Alliance is imminent. Stress on the word imminent.

But to what extent are MME subsidising?- thats the question. If I were managing an airline and an airport made a case to me for flying a route I would ask them to put their money where their mouth was and chip in at least until they were proved right and the route was viable.Well it hasn't stop the so called mayor up in Teesside funding his routes with subsidy paid to Loganair & Ryanair to fly it's aircraft half empty. Has it?
