NAP has now gone from the drop down menu so I'd say that it's definitely not happening in 2021 at least.

Does anyone know if easyjet have agreements with cruise companies in which they take seats?

Presumably they do as last year we did two fly cruises to Malta flying with Thomas Cook and TUI.

Cooks was a mixed flight majority on the cruise and the TUI flight was a dedicated P&O flight ( charter) even to the point they had dedicated P&O check in desks and staff at BHX for the flight. On the return you get a list of flights detailing all flights and there were several EasyJet to the like of MAN, LTN, BRS etc but not BHX, they need to shift over 2000 passengers each way on a turn round day so good business for the airlines in normal times.

I know its the same process for the two weekly Barbados cruise by P&O charters from BHX all with TUI 787s.

So if we assume that NAP-BHX was just a glorified cruise charter it makes sense that it's gone, seeing as the cruise industry is nowhere near anything like a recovery.

Not sure that would be a correct assumption Ray as as I am not aware of any cruises from the UK which start or finish in Naples which is where the flights would go to. Naples is more a port of call, Venice and Rome are the big starting points in Italy if EasyJet or any other airline are interested from BHX, not Ryanair though as cruise companies require a certain level of service.

There is still more to come from easyJet......all I will say is don't write off easyJet for 2021 from BHX

Off the coast of Dorset and Devon its a ship spotters dream. There is at least 20 cruise ships anchored and they been there all our last summer With that in the UK you have a look around the world and no cruises being run as shis are laid up.Likewise with the airlines, the cruise industry are struggling. With this new virus strain kicking in it sure will put pressure on every one. When things start to move again it wonders what will be left, not only airlines and the cruise industry but every thing in general. We shall not see things again like we used to.
Stay safe every one and hope you have a good christmas as much as it can. Happy christmas every one on the BHX tread.

I think easyjet will grow their BHX presence from away based bases, so AMS makes a lot of sense.
CDG, MXP, MAD, LIS etc would also make sense plus a lot more
I’m happy with that as long as we get the connections. Are there many airports that have a large choice of routes with an airline without a dedicated base?

I guess it depends what is meant by large, we have 10 routes from Wizz but no base.

I reckon AMS, CDG, MXP and BER must be the priorities from other easyjet bases, all key routes either with reduced capacity or completely missing.

If they also want to add BOD, LIS, LYS, AGP, NTE, PMI, BSL, NCE, VCE and TLS I won't argue :)

A nice set of routes you have written. When thinking routes the mind wanders and it thinks that any route would work. Next summer at BRS there is 18 aircraft due to be based and i would say we are lucky at BRS with Easyjet as they increase the based aircraft every year. It will keep looking on the Easy thread and hope you get something you have listed.
But all this with the covid 19 going on it will hit every thing it would care to mention.Hope this new meds going to start injecting and hope it works out ok as Westminster has pinned high hopes on it.
Happy new year and a safe one ray to you and all on the BHX thread
Regards Steve.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
