I personally think easyJet should operate Athens

Going by some of the early interviews I got the impression that the Birmingham base would be heavily focussed on the sunshine routes in the early days so it was a nice surprise to see Prague and Krakow announced.

There's still plenty more sunshine routes that would do well but I'm hoping that we also see the likes of Athens, Rome and Madrid.

Exciting times :)

I do expect some increase for frequency’s we have now however what you’ve predicted could be possible

My predictions are
Gran Canaria
Athens
Naples
Mykonos
Hurghada

If we're going for predictions, I'm hoping for Copenhagen, Hamburg, Basel, Lanzarote, Las Palmas, Rome, Santorini, İzmir, Bodrum and Palermo...amongst a whole load of others 😀

I'd be very surprised if we don't see Lanzarote and Gran Canaria. Both, along with Hurghada, would be solid year round routes.

I'm sure that Ibiza, Menorca, Funchal, Malta, Venice, Gibraltar, Bodrum, Kefalonia, Santorini, Dubrovnik, Zakynthos etc would all do well.

City wise I would love Rome, Madrid and Athens. It would also be great to see Bilbao, Basel, Hamburg and Porto.

It would also be nice to see some regional French routes such as Nantes or La Rochelle. We've really been lacking in this area since the loss of Flybe.

If we really do see all of these extra units from easy and Ryanair I hope the management have plans to pour some more concrete.

My bets; Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Gibraltar, Hurghada, Zante, Izmir, Nice, Naples and a few increases on the existing routes should keep an extra two units busy. There’s also the possibility of more away based flying, be interesting to see if EasyJet pick up anything from Bordeaux.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
