Eastern Airways Jetstream41 due BRS 1525 today from Humberside. No doubt carrying the Hull City squad and backroom staff for tomorrow evening's League Cup game against Bristol City.

Siavia Air

A
n E145 of this Slovenian airline is due BRS from Pau in France at 1445 today, returning at 1900 hours tomorrow. It will be in connection with the Rugby European Challenge Cup match tomorrow afternoon, Bristol v Pau.

Ryanair operated a scheduled service to Pau from Bristol between 2007 and 2009.

bmi regional

The evening CDG rotation (BM 1887/1888) was operated by a Sukhoi Superjet 100-95B, reg EI-FWB, presumably from CityJet.

FR24 shows an eta of 2228 (sched arrival 2000) and the aircraft is currently in the Bath area on approach.

Airport website arrivals and departures pages have been blank all day.

I keep on about airport like secret service. I just get the feeling all airport is interested in is pax flying in and out. more out I think. they know ppl are flying and they will be at the airport for their flight and spend money. now the likes of us that have interest in airport loose out as they don't spend as much money. I know one thing it would never have happened a few years back. I know some news is sensitive but there is always some sort of news. It has never been so bad as it is now for snippets of news.

It's now come back online in the last hour

I suppose there have been a lot of press releases in recent months about physical developments at the airport and the successful year that 2016 certainly was.

This is probably the wrong thread to pursue this but I understand what you are saying about communication. Of course some things are commercially sensitive but when I contact the airport these days (not often now not that I ever was a prolific correspondent) as someone who supports the airport (but not uncritically) I never get any sort of reply as I used to in the days of say Andrew Skipp. He would forward detailed letters of reply signed by himself. Whether he dictated them is another matter but the ethos then was to reply in detail ostensibly by the top man. The current CEO ignored a letter of general support which also contained one or two general queries and when I chased them up by email weeks later a staff member sent me a brief and what I considered to be a rather patronising email reply which ignored my questions entirely.

There is no list of consultative committee meeting dates for 2017 on the airport website. This committee is supposed, inter alia, to represent local residents and airport travellers. In the past the forthcoming year's dates have always been listed.

Enter Air

Is that an Enter Air B 737 that seems to be parked up through the week at the western end of the airfield? Enter Air does a weekly Sofia ski flight and I seem to remember Enter Air aircraft parking up for lengthy periods in previous winters.

Yes it is , it has been doing Sofia but i have seen it inbound from Doncaster several times so maybe it's covering both

Thank you very much, Andrew.

bmi regional E145 operating to Newcastle today at 1400, with return flight tomorrow arriving BRS at 2015. Presumably it's in connection with Newcastle United v Bristol City Championship game tomorrow afternoon.

you are correct in saying football flight. the way they been playing this season it would be cheaper to give Newcastle the points and cut out travel.

Saturday morning's Austrian A320 Charter is due to be operated by OE-LBP which is currently painted up in the Austrian retro scheme.

Wouldn't put any money on a result other than a home win but down the years Bristol City can be perverse at times. Incidentally, Bristol City don't use aircraft for away matches in the way that some other teams do.

Ryanair's 60-seat executive Boeing 737-700 arrived at BRS from NWI (Norwich) at 1800 yesterday - I presume it arrived, it's shown on Mayfly as due in.

Both Mayfly and the BRS departures board show it returning to NWI at 2300 this evening. It's obviously in connection with Bristol City v Norwich City Championship match this evening. The aircraft took the Norwich City party to and from CWL for a match earlier this season and I believe it's flown to other airports for Norwich City matches this season too.

I would like to know to ! but although it did say Bristol to Exeter it seemed to originate from Yeovilton ??
At a guess it was on an airtest out of Exeter and back

Mondays see three easyJet rotations to Geneva, all operated by BRS-based aircraft. Can't see anything extra either on Mayfly or on the BRS arrivals pages.

Saturdays for part of February saw six easyJet Geneva rotations instead of the usual five, with the additional one operated by easyJet Switzerland. Looking back, the flight numbers for that were not as you posted for this afternoon's movement.

Can't really help I'm afraid.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
