KPMG will be putting it up for sale in the next few weeks. Whilst that process is happening the plan is to store third party aircraft in there.

Looks like a classic asset strip, more than £12 million worth of spares along with hangars and equipment etc to be sold.

Good morning, can anyone explain why the Gainjet 737 has been in the monarch hanger for the last month or so .... or are they working on it ? can’t think it was just keeping warm & dry ! I would of thought there would of been plenty of demand for this type of aircraft at the moment with the max issue.

no idea if its having maintenance or not, but the 734 is in VIP configure, so has only 64 seats, so really too small for an airline to sub charter it to replace a 737 Max!

Not sure about that. You would struggle to get 64 people the fly on a 737 max at the moment..64 passengers is better than none.

If I remember correctly they do maintenance for Wizzair?

They already have a hangar facility in NQY and are very much an MRO.
