This mornings arrival straight from Boeing Field, Seattle, it should be in for about a week or so.

Excellent photo courtesy of Mike Hollick on the BHX Photo Blog.

Apparently A6-FEJ is due to depart on Wed morning around 10:30ish, if all goes to plan it should be out on the apron Tuesday afternoon for engine runs. I've heard the second Fly Dubai will also arrive some time next Wed but it's yet to be confirmed.

All subject to change of course.

Just to update too the Austrian B777's will not be going to BHX. They were due into Air Livery but wrongly put in the system as visiting Monarch.

Fly Dubai 738 A6-FEK arrived from Boeing Field early Saturday morning and joined A6-FEJ in the hangar. A6-FEJ then departed Saturday evening.

Embraer175 G-FBJK also arrived on delivery to the MAEL hangar.

I've posted this on the infrastructure thread but it's probably worth posting it here too. The first minute is a runway update which is then followed by some of the MAEL hangar movements so far.

Fly Dubai 738 A6-FEK is down to depart to Dubai tomorrow at 10:45. Subject to change of course.

Seems the RAF Voyager A330 fleet is being split between MAN and BHX as the next one into MAEL is Manchester tomorrow afternoon.

I see Fly Dubai have ordered a further 86 737's, hopefully we'll see some of them route through BHX.

A couple of Monarch movements over the next few months. A300 G-MAJS is due on Jan 27th to be withdrawn from use, G-OJMR will then arrive on 13th April after the last flight from LGW.

A new A320 G-ZBAP is due through BHX this month and will enter service in March, there is also another A320 due but no details yet. Six A321's (two with sharklets) will also enter service between February and May with a good chance that some or all may pass through BHX.

One for the rumour mill, there has apparently been whispers that MAEL are getting quite a waiting list for the BHX facility and with predicted growth there could well be a third bay constructed in the future. This is nothing more than a friend of a friend overheard someone rumour, and the current facility won't be running at full capacity till the end of the year, but still interesting.

G-ZBAE has now left the hangar after having sharklets fitted which I think may be Monarchs first A321 with them?

A320 M-RAFF recently arrived from Kemble for the hangar and will become G-ZBAP with Monarch Airlines.

M-RAFF spent the weekend parked on 83L and entered the hangar today.

Jet2 757 G-LSAG arrived this afternoon (from MAN I think) for attention with MAEL.

A Norwegian 787 Dreamliner is due in at 18:50 for the MAEL hangar, hopefully it'll still be outside tomorrow.

You may well get to see it tomorrow as it looks to be delayed already.

Unless its transponder is switched off, the only DY B787's active in the last hour are LNA on its way to FLL and LNC on its way to JFK.

I noticed that on FR24 also, we'll see if/when it turns up.

RAF A330 Voyager ZZ333 is on it's way up from Brize Norton, I've heard there are two RAF A330's due tonight but don't know how accurate that is. I assume they're here for MAEL.

Looks like your Norwegian will be EI-LNB.

If there are 2 RAF airbus due in then surely something will have to wait, as I thought the hangar was up to 3 widebodies or 10 narrowbodies.

Given there is at least 1 bay already occupied according to the BHX movements blog, all 3 arrivals tonight ain't going to fit in.

I will suspect the Norwegian will be given priority as I believe its on unplanned maintenance.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
