You missed my point, my complaint about an airport management holiday video giving little prominace to two of the u.k. major package holiday companies, i was not making a point about these or any other companies advertising campaigns.
Just seemed strange you put on social media a airport commercial aimed at the holiday market and yet ignore the principal players in the market, especially as they should be more active from LBA, its not the way to encourage them to participate more.
I accept the video featured the leading supporters of the airport.

Maybe that is where the Airport Management think that is where the passengers are going to come from.

I'm sure you are just reading too much into the planning of the video. It is likely the airport would use an external company to carry out such work and they would be requested to come in at the busiest time in the airports schedule to capture footage. It is probable the day and time of the visit was agreed beforehand by both the airport and film promotion company. Security clearance is also likely to have played a part in the timing of the filming.

It is also worth remembering that although Thomson is a leading brand in the UK Inclusive Tour, the airline features very little in the LBA scheduling. So far as I am concerned it makes commercial sense to feature airlines that actively support LBA such as Jet2 where inclusive tour traffic features heavily as part of the Jet2 Holidays brand.

I like the video. It's short yet eye-catching. The transposing of landing aircraft is neat too.

I noticed a large billboard in Horsforth advertising British Airways flights from Leeds Bradford.

Superbreaks have been advertising it's new Seville flights from Leeds Bradford Airport in spectacular style with a flamenco flash mob on Briggate, the main shopping street in Leeds city centre.

This is a great way of advertising and we've seen Jet2 and Ryanair do this in the past. Personally I think LBA should look at doing similar things to advertise itself. It only takes a few people filming it and placing it on Social Media for it to be distributed to several thousand potential customers. #Superbreaks #LBA

49 trips undertaken last year. First done this year which was to North Wales where surprisingly the only slippery surfaces were in Conwy with the castle and it's walls closed due to the ice.
