Discussions relating to Liverpool Airport
There are fundamentally and potentially structural issues with Play from what I can see and not dissimilar to their previous incarnation.
I think you need to give them a chance rather than damp them down. They’ve not long been operating the route. Right now it’s to early to say weather routes perfuming well or not and by what Carl was saying LPL seem happy with Play at present.

Total for December 2022 was 252884, which puts Liverpool as the 11th busiest UK airport.

I find it so frustrating, when using the various CAA files,l to find that the total passenger figures can vary!!
Such is life🙁

I stopped worrying about that ages ago. Once upon a time, the CAA figures were accurate and published in the middle of the following month. Hey ho that's progress for you.

Just like me🤣🤣

I'll make the next file Liverpool John Lennon Airport. Hope that'll make me feel more youthful (a hard job in itself) and you happier.

Its ok, I just thought it seemed a bit odd, I mean back in the day all the regional airports had their local name , was it Newcastle /.Wolsingham?

Data from the CAA for April 2023.
Figures come from Table 3 for Movements, Table 12.1 for International Passengers, Table 12.3 for Domestic Passengers and Table 13 for Freight. As usual there is a difference between the total of Tables 12.1 & 12.3 when compared to Table 9 - how do they do it??

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours

LBA: Albastar B737-800 EC-MUB positioning in tommorow afternoon from Gatwick 15:45 to operate a charter to Lourdes/Tarbes on Friday afternoon 14:00 AP7721 STC
I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
