Data from the CAA for April 2023.
Figures come from Table 3 for Movements, Table 12.1 for International Passengers, Table 12.3 for Domestic Passengers and Table 13 for Freight. As usual there is a difference between the total of Tables 12.1 & 12.3 when compared to Table 9 - how do they do it??

Hi are the LH load factors correct, I've seen from.a reliable source that 73% is the figure for April 23.

With thanks to #Silvercity for drawing my attention to an error in the Load Factor records. I've been using the seating from Planespotters.net which shows 90 seats, however looking at Seatguru - and discussion with #8miles27 on NWAN - it would appear that 11 seats in business class are not reservable. Therefore the available seats are 79.

The updated file for January to April 2023 reflect this change.

I'm travelling on LH on Sunday. looking forward to it.

I'm currently on holiday but will hopefully post statistics, from the CAA, when I return next week.

I am having a real problem reconciling the CAA's data for May. Table 9 gives a total passenger count of 380,454 whilst the passenger split from Tables 12.3 & 12.1 gives 368,514.
I've used the latter figures for my records but I'm happy to accept the higher number as well!!

For those interested there is a comparison of 2019 v 2023 data at:

There are 522862 scheduled seats available. So L/F 80 %. 11 % up on 2022.

As some of you may be aware I have been going through a difficult time of recent and, as a result, my compilation of statistics has taken a bit of a back seat.

As soon as I am able to I will return with monthly data and in the meantime I would ask that you bear with me.

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
