Just to keep us on our toes, Vueling set to launch 3 weekly Malaga from June 16th.

Looks like the rumoured list has to be thrown out of the window, as they have now launched 2 routes not even on it!

Looking at GDS and the Vueling website, Vueling to use their new A321 on a few of the Manchester flights over winter.

Looking at their timetables, the Vueling Barcelona service seems to be:

March/April 5 weekly
May, June, Sept daily
July 6 weekly?
August 9 weekly with 2 flights on Fri/sun.

Not sure why July is just 6 weekly when other 'less busy' months see a daily flight.

Friday's in August now see 4 Vueling flights, with 2 BCN, 1 ALC and 1 FCO.

The timetable is not the best to use.

I make it Monday,Wednesday,Friday,Sunday April to September

Tuesday April to 6 September.

Saturday 25/6 to 10/9 and

Thursday 4/8 to 8/9.

Th extra two flights seem to be connections

I'm looking at the GDS timetable, and, thus far, the calander on the website home page shows daily flights for the months stated. The second flight is a direct flight looking at the timetable, connections only available Mon/Fri which co-incide with the FCO flight.

Vueling winter 2016/17 flights seem to be on sale.

Bookable thus far is Barcelona and Rome will be Mon and Fri, Alicante on Tue, Fri and Sun.

However, timetable seems to be showing Barcelona will be Mon, Wed, Fri and Sun, so, will be interesting to see how it pans out.

Given this winter it is just a 2 weekly BCN, to think there will be at least 7 weekly flights but possibly 9 represents a hefty increase!

The Barcelona route is now confirmed daily from 20th June instead of just August.

The new Thursday flight will also be a slightly different time to the other flights.

Slowly but surely the presence is increasing.

Also hearing that 2017 will see a very large increase to MAN flights. Details will be revealed in the winter.

Latest internal timetable update seems to indicate Barcelona going 9 weekly in August (morning flight on Monday and Friday).

Flight is
BCN 0945 MAN 1120
MAN 1200 BCN 1520

Also seems Rome gains a 3rd weekly on Wednesday afternoon for July and August. Flight numbers and times are the same as the Friday flight. (VY6304/6305)

These flights do not appear to have made the website yet.

Vueling have increased MAN-BCN to 5 weekly for the next winter period, with flights on Mon/Wed/Fri/Sat/Sun.

Along with FCO at 2 weekly and ALC remaining at 3 weekly, it represents a huge increase compared to this winters 2 weekly.

Vueling new 2 weekly Mon/Thu route to TFS now bookable from July 7th.

Will be a year round route.

VY7818 TFS 0600 MAN 1025
VY7819 MAN 1110 TFS 1555
Monday's

VY7818 TFS 1425 MAN 1850
VY7819 MAN 1930 TFS 0115
Thursdays

Looking at GDS, winter 2016 looks to be the following with Vueling, if it has the *confirmed it means it's bookable on the main site.

Barcelona Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun *confirmed
Rome Mon, Fri *confirmed
Alicante Tue, Fri, Sun *confirmed
Tenerife Mon, Thu, Sat *confirmed but sat not confirmed yet
Malaga Tue, Sat *not confirmed but in GDS
Palma Mon, Thu *not confirmed but in GDS

Palma seems to start 7th November, Malaga 8th November and the 3rd weekly TFS on 5th November.

Thanks user,if all the flights get confirmed that means 4 flights on a monday and 3 on a friday.
Great increases on this winter and maybe more to be announced. Have you heard any more on a Manchester base for 2017 ?

Vueling has Paris Orly listed as a direct flight from Manchester (listed with the yellow dot and on the route map) on its website.

No flights are loaded yet however.

Now only bookable on the 6th, 7th, 12th and 13th of April, so it must be a special series for the two Champions League matches between Man City and Paris-St Germain.

That's correct. Although asking Vueling if the route could be permanent, they said 'there are initially 4 flights in April, and the full schedule for after June should be available soon'.

One to watch I suppose.

Was there a rumour of another airline starting Orly flights, or am I thinking of EZY who are serving CDG?

Anyway, good to see some action from the likes of Vueling and Norwegian for MAN and not just relying on RYR and EZY, welcome though their significant expansion is.

Both GDS and the Manchester airport online timetable showing that Vueling will add a 3rd weekly flight from 3rd November.

The Monday and Friday flights continue, but a Thursday flight is added from the above date, with the flight arriving 1215 and departing 1255.

W16/17 is now 4 routes with 13 weekly flights, quite impressive when you consider the winter just gone was 1 route with 2 weekly flights.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
