Just 14,975 pax short of the reported record (Terminal and Transit) total. Could be there by now! Most unfortunate that June endured a day of mass cancellations due to that power outage.

Don't you just hate it when you wake in the middle of the night and start to wonder whether you have made a mistake on something??

Anyway, I had made an error on yesterday's version of the comparative accumulated figures, so here is the new sheet

Whilst we await the publication of data for May from the CAA, here is an interesting little comparison that I have just done on movements - from my daily logs - for 1st-14th July:

2023 - 8,055
2024 - 8,782

Increase year on year =+9.03%

Okay, lets try again - I think the sun, from gardening, had effected my brain.

Here are the spreadsheets giving July 2024 statistics and also my take on the comparative figures for 2019 v 2024.

A comparison of statistics for June 2019 v 2024 is now available post #32 via the link below:

Any individual airport data will be uploaded over the next few days.

Back in post #1202 I gave the figures supplied by Manchester Airport. Today I give the same data but based on the records provided by the CAA. For some reason there is always a small variation:

Load Factors for June based on the CAA data for passengers flown and both Flightradar24 and Flightaware for schedules and Planespotters.net for seating configurations:

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
