I have suspicions that I've loaded an early version of the figures before I did tweeking!!
As I'm up in Cumbria for the day I'll have a fresh look when I get home this evening.

What did I say about " Getting old"???

Okay, I'm home and hopefully the numbers are correct this time - I will admit to having missed a series of Ryanair flights to Madrid. In the first listing you will notw that the Istanbul Sabiha Gokcem shows 100pc - I have not been able to find any additional flights to show that this is incorrect!!

Thanks for asking and, yes, I have included those. It's sometimes very odd how things go pear-shaped.
Out of interest, do you know what seating configuration Qatar use on yheir 773 A7-BOF?

I tried to get some rationale for the huge increase in ET's passenger numbers but the only response was that a lot of people travel to the Frrench/Swiss Alps but from what I can see there are anything from 2 to 9 flights daily between easyJet and Jet2 and I just can't see how ET would get an instant 10% market share on a 4 weekly service as, with all due respect to ET, when people search skiing flights/holidays you tend not to think of African airlines especially when there are established brands in place.

I've taken the liberty to repost the airport's traffic statistics and then to provide my own version - taken from the CAA data.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
