Just booked a last minute holiday to Bodrum with Thomson! £534 All inclusive for 2, 10 nights, 6 weeks time, 13th October :yahoo:

Looks great.

Thinking of booking a short break in Belfast early next year, the little one is desperate to go on a plane so might give Easyjet a go. Anyone ever been?

Looks like my flight to Bodrum and return are 757's. TOM266 and TOM757 (ironic right :reallyshocked: ) are my flight numbers! G-OOBH and G-OOBB have been operating the flight recently but could all change!

Hi Everyone

Been reading the forum for a while now but never posted before

Saturday 13th Sept Myself, my partner and 15month old son travelled from Birmingham to gran canaria on the 3pm Monarch Flight.
Must admit, not a fan of flying at that time on a Saturday. Was very crowded in the departure lounge, quite long queues for everything. We normally have a meal in the weatherspoons but as that was packed we ended up in the meridon bar. Very enjoyable meal in there and very quick too. Flight from Birmingham was very good and even better that I didn't suffer with my ears. Usually have problems where I cant pop my ears coming into land and then suffer with pain down my face.
On our return on Saturday Night/Sunday morning, our flight got in early and at the right time as passport control was very over crowded about 5 mins after we joined the queue.

Stephen
PS keep up the good work everyone, very enjoyable forum to read :good:

Only 15 days (as from Sunday) till I fly out to Bodrum on a Thomson 757!
13th October, TOM266, 17:55 departure, return 23rd October, TOM757, 16:15 arrival :s_cool

Have a great time, if the weather is fine I'll try and get a photo of your flight departing :)

Please do!! It'll be greatly appreciated :good:

Flying out Monday.. Just a curious question as I can't remember..
Does BHX offer free Wi-Fi? Like I know it did before, but it was with time limits. Is it still limited or unlimited?

We now offer free wi-fi throughout the terminal building.

That's all it says on the website. You could ask BHX on Twitter about the time limits, they're usually pretty good with the reply's on there.

Have a great time, I would have got a picture but it's chucking it down :s_sad

I know! Was chucking it down! Was a really bumpy takeoff, even when off the ground, lots of turbulence as expected though. I recorded the takeoff, got a nice rawr off the engines! I'll upload the video when I get back, Internet isn't very good. However my friend from London had come up in the rain to photograph G-BYAT with me on it! I have the photos he sent me, but again, have to wait until I get back! :D
*update*
Quick 15 second video I uploaded onto Instagram, not the full takeoff though.

Has anybody ever been down to Southern Spain during late March/early April? If so what are the temperatures like that time of year, we're looking somewhere around the Malaga area? I'm just wondering whether it would be warm enough for the kids to be in the pool?

We're possibly going to go away for a week or so next Easter, the Canaries are an option but I'd prefer to keep the flight at short as possible so Malaga is the favourite at the moment but I've only ever been during the summer months.

Any opinions welcome

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
