As seen as its formally bookable they deserve a mention in the thread.

From Saturday 10th, BGW-ESU-MMX-MAN-ESU-BGw 1 weekly bookable on A320.

Great to see them back, Manchester has a pretty sizeable Middle eastern network indeed now!

Once the MAN and LGW flights settle back down, Iraqi have once again said that Basra, Baghdad, Sulimanyah and Erbil will all be served from both airports and their own flights.

I'm trying to think of any airline that has had a shorter lead-in time for a route, restarted or otherwise!

The inaugural flight operates today - well the resumption:

Iraqi Airways video, at TXL. Pity it arrives/departs so late as for us spotters we won't be able to see it until summer! I believe YI-ARD has been the only arrival into MAN thus far?

Reported elsewhere that the Iraqi loads this weekend we're 'excellent both ways'

It's on the Iraqi Airways UK homepage that there is a 'new flight from Manchester (and Gatwick) to Erbil.'

However, only seems to be bookable until 28th October and seems to be a stop on the Baghdad route. I could t work out if Sulimanyah was also still a stop on the flights for these dates too?

Very confusing but from what I can gather...

The MAN flight is moved from MAN-ISU to MAN-BGW (Baghdad direct). Then there is a connector flight to BGW-ISU and BGW-EBL.

So we have:

IA 266 MAN 2200 BGW 0600 +1 320 (SAT departure)
IA 966 BGW 0700 ISU 0800 320 (SUN)
IA 943 BGW 1030 EBL 1130 320 (SUN)

IA 942 EBL 0700 BGW 0800 320 (SAT)
IA 965 ISU 1130 BGW 1230 320 (SAT)
IA 265 BGW 1400 MAN 2030 320 (SAT)

The above schedule is up to October 28th according to their website.

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
