What's the likelihood of Eurowings returning?
I saw a post on the Leeds thread yesterday mentioning Eurowings for Berlin and it got me wondering that with Flybe not having Berlin and Dusseldorf onsale could Eurowings return to Cardiff?
It is possible that Flybe may stay with 3 based aircraft and if they want to add Mallorca then something would have to give and considering they are not onsale it's possible TXL and DUS would be the routes dropped.
If somehow the airport were able to attract Eurowings to operate the Berlin and Dusseldorf then Flybe would be free to use those slots for Mallorca and possibly a new route like say Bordeaux or extend Geneva to all year round. Looking at Eurowings fleet they do have A319s and Q400s that would be suitable and as they are a lot more known amongst the German population than Flybe so could may well help to increase German tourism into Wales itself and they have been operating for TUI from PMI for the last 2 years so will be familiar with the current management. This could be a positive for the airport in that it keeps routes, gets new routes or increased frequencies on others and gets a new/returned airline.

I've wondered about Eurowings too.

One of the airports goals is too increase tourism into Wales and having a German carrier operating those routes may well increase it and it would be great to see them operating their own routes into CWL.

Most likely it'll be the rumoured Flybe 4th aircraft or something mundane like TUIs bag drop service! Lol
Would be nice though if Ryanair launched a few new routes or a base!

Wish list:
- FR base
- Jet2 base

Reaslistic possibilities:
- Flybe 4th aircraft
- 1 or 2 new routes from FR
- Increased frequency from VY on current routes
Likelihood:
- Greggs
- Some kind of improvement to customer service process (bag drop/gate improvement)
- Something to replace TXL in the current BE schedule

Another one for the wishlist would be Primera or Norwegian TA. I don't think primera have reallocated the Airbus from BHX routes. The new mainland Europe routes I believe are all 737max

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
