Yes it would be a very handy base for FR many have been serviced by Caerdaf, and an opportunity for TUI to consider expansion.

It has been on there for a while, I’m talking since last year. Interestingly Cardiff is an option on their destination list with no flights, yet somewhere like Exeter isn’t listed at all. East Midlands is listed with no flights too. Who knows!

I believe East Midlands is listed through worldwide with Easyjet. Cardiff seems to be in the list of the places they serve in the UK.
Tweet the screen capture to them and ask them where they're flying to?
I expect that I'd get a social media answer.

I suppose it only takes one flight to say Belfast and it will appear on their website. Are there any flight at all right now?

Lots of talk on Pprune regarding a big announcement by newly proposed airline BEregional, of possible new routes by them from CWL, or reinstated old routes once operated by FlyBE. I think it is better to wait and see what the announcement is before anything about possibilities for CWL.

Usually I'd be excited about a new airline but Flybe mk 25 just fills me anxiety. As Cardiff has been burnt by them before but the airport does need airlines and routes and it maybe a case of beggars can't be choosers.

The only routes from CWL that would likely make any decent money would be DUB, EDI and BHD. All of which are covered by established airlines.

The EDI route desperately needs an alternative offering. The times, frequency and price of Loganair are sending the route in one direction. We need Glasgow and Paris covering too.
Better the devil you know. A new airline has to make money from the start unless they have very deep pockets. They would need low prices and huge amount of advertising as well as frequency. A huge risk for a young airline, meaning a huge risk for CWL.
Paris is also a very expensive airport to operate from.

This whole beregioal and avooma thing is a bit strange. Looks far more like an online fantasy being played out by an obsessive recluse, rather than anything remotely funded, structured or legitimate.
The websites are basic answer forms where people can say what routes they like, the big announcement was that the two companies are merging. Two companies with identical basic websites and same CEO and 'chief vision officer' Jon Davies. With the statement going on to celebrate the fact he's visiting an air show to talk to people and inviting people to talk to him.
All their media looks like its made in the airline manager game too.
I'm surprised there's any traction to it anywhere to be honest. Their social media presence consists of a couple of dozen followers at best across the platforms. The fact that Sean M has engaged with it is even more surprising.

Posting on Pprune, that someone had posted on Wikipedia,( source not known ), that Agadir had been added to Summer 25 as a TUI route from CWL. There maybe no truth in it, but it looks as though TUI are certainly considering more flights from CWL, with recent announcements of Cancun and Chambery.

I saw someone commented about Agadir on X under a post from Sean M asking “who has seen new TUI routes - comment below”. If it is true I’m sure we’ll know for certain within the next week.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
