It seems MAN is really trying to build up its cargo portfolio of late.

Currently, MAN sees a 3 weekly Lufthansa Cargo operation, with a 4th flight starting tomorrow, using MD11/B777 equipment.

FedEx base a B757 and ATR72 to run BHX/STN/CDG, with rumours of a USA flight (Memphis).

DHL will base a B757 to run Leipzig from Monday 15th, with rumours of more to come.

There are the regular Bin Air metro flights to Astuias and Ovidevo, with some very questionable and controversial cargos.

Air Bridge cargo are to base a B747-8 to run DME/ATL/PHL/SEA/SFO/JFK/IAH amongst others, with a possible MIA/EWR and YYZ too.

There is the constant talk that MAN is in the running for an Emirates Skycargo flight, and that Korean Air Cargo have been sniffing around. Yangtze River express have also been spotted.

Lastly, I'm hearing rumours that Aerologic could move their B777 flights from EMA to MAN, but I don't know how true this is as the excuse for the move doesn't sound right.

Seems the market is picking up again!

Air Bridge cargo will now be up and running by mid-November according to Loadstar magazine.

Was looking for a Manc FedEx page but this will do.

N1FE parked up on Signature. Probably just a HQ visit but I do hope they are looking to reinstate the awesome MD11!!

That initial post on this section was really positive back in 2015......

Bluemanc Federal Express are very much a major customer of MAG group at their dedicated Cargo Hubs in the Midlands and Essex..

Indeed MAG group handle much of the UK whole and main deck and consolidators cargo flights through these two centres leaving Manchester to handle belly cargo and self loading organic blobs in the main.

A few days ago I saw an MD11F passing overhead me at 4000ft on approach to Stansted from
Indiannapolis..was very impressive, albeit noisier than more modern aircraft, but certainly make you look at it..

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
