Judging by the second clip I can see why the assengers in the terminal were worried. Good bit of flying. Thanks for posting.

We have a little German Market in my local and truly excellent garden centre. Kids love it. Only has 12 stores....slightly smaller than Birmingham's. We do have 11 hair salons, 3 tanning shops and 4 beauty parlours in the town centre though....and only 3 proper shops! Welcome to TOWIE.

Only four weeks until the Frankfurt Christmas Market :D
I am sorry Ray but this is where I get my Grinch hat on. The Christmas market in Birmingham is an absolute nightmare to contend with. I have regular appointments in town on New St every other Saturday morning and bashing my way through this market is nothing more than an absolute b***ache! Every year it is a case of the market getting bigger and bigger to the point last year it started just by the Rotunda and finished by the Council House. Yes I know it brings in revenue to the City but having to fight your way through crowds of people who don't know where they are going and getting beer splashed all over you is not my idea of fun!
Yes I know I am being a bit of a misery here but the space the market takes up on New Street does not make it a very nice experience for those who have no interest in the market but are in town for regular business. (rant over).

You've never been to a home game at St Andrews then :)

I can definitely see where you are coming from. A few years ago I had a meeting at a place not too far from the NIA, attempting to walk back to New Street Station was an absolute nightmare. Thankfully I know the back routes so took the longer but quicker way round.

In other news City Social Birmingham will transform the Mailbox underpass into a 'winter wonderland' with sofas and heaters to make use of whilst having a tipple...or three.

I m with CL44 on the Christmas market only went once never again although the wife thought it was great (it's a shopping thing).
As far as St Andrews goes last time I went me and my pal seemed to be half the crowd, mind you it'll be packed a week on Sunday
KRO.

I am not sure what you mean Ray. CL did mention 'crowds of people.' What has that got to do with St Andrews?

The Lord Jasper Carrot joke springs to mind: "ever been to St Andrews? Went there on Saturday, turned to the bloke next to me and shouted OI!"
KRO....best the Millwall....

Priceless stuff I've got an old LP at home with the bovril skit on on it, still makes me laugh assuming peoples know what an LP is mind you I've got nothing to play it on these days.

City centre pedestrian underpass, winter wonderland, sofas! I am of an age where experience of these underpasses
makes this sentence almost incomprehensible.Thank heavens for progress.:)

Carrott and Jethro - two of the funniest comics I've ever had the pleasure of watching. Many thanks for the Carrott clips, Ray. I'm still chuckling.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
