I've just got myself an Audi A1. I really wanted an A3 but I decided they're a tad too expensive.

I've been driving a silver 2004 Fiesta what seemed like forever, so it's a bit different to drive. Lovin' the comfort and the stability of the car when your driving which you don't get in a Fiesta.

I don't drive myself but my mum owns a Black '15 Ford B-Max. This is the first time this family has had a brand new car, since my dad (god rest his soul) really hated brand new cars :giggle:

It's too dirty to tell.
That's the problem with black cars too. They get dirty so quickly. I wanted a Daytona grey with silver trims but they didn't have one. Couldn't wait any longer having announced to the wife "the car is dead!"

Had a Black 2.8 injection Capri in the late 80s, never had another black car, or another Capri!

My first job as valeting cars. Black was a pig to keep clean and it's a soft paint so it scratches easily. Still, I love a black car when it's looked after. Will post a picture of mine when I have time.

I've always seemed to have blue cars over the years (with one or two exceptions).

I don't know if subconsciously I'm drawn to them or if it's just randomly happened that way.

I've had a white Vauxhall Nova, a blue Ford Fiesta (old old shape), a dark blue Citroen Saxo, a silver Ford Fiesta, (old shape) and now my Audi A1 Sportback

I always wanted a Vauxhall Nova but never had one.

I did have a Mark I Astra.

I had my current car for ages now, I should really think about getting a new one but I love it.

I was a satisfied driver of a Mini Countryman S, in all black scheme including wheels. It was a beast of a car that regularly drained the battery, BMW said it was because of all the electronic aids fitted to the vehicle and low useage. It was seized by DWP as disabilities were deemed not severe enough to warrant the car. Now, disability considered incompatible with driving. Too great a risk to other road users! Licence suspended.

Ohh, that is old news but it still hurts the way they did it sending bailiffs to secure the vehicle. My goodness, the locals feasted upon the gossip especially as the Police attended the seizure. There is no dignity in being disabled when the State flexes the muscle.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
