The BBQ season is almost upon us!

Wow, five months. That's flown.

Five minutes ago I could hold my oldest in one hand, yet in five months she finishes junior school for good 😢
 
....and i am in my house near Tavira in Portugal, barbecue primed but it is raining. And the forecast for tomorrow is not wonderful either with just 22 deg C and showers here but a sweltering 32 deg C in the north of Portugal. Where have i heard Sod's Law before...

Hmm, I’m not sure my waistline would cope with that....but Dad Bods are apparently in this year so you never know by the time I go on holiday I might actually be on trend for once! 🙂
 
Gym?

I think I've heard of them....... 🤔

They’re those funny looking buildings with running machines in them! I don’t know who I’m kidding, whenever I went “to the gym” I basically just sat in the sauna for an hour. We did go swimming the other day though and I managed to get a few lengths in while Mrs T entertained the little one so that was something.
 
Unhappy to report that a number of disposabe BBQs have been confiscated as people have been taking them to Dove Stone reservoir today despite the wildfires that occurred last year and the very dry conditions on the moors. Obviously these people have cotton wool for brains
 
The sun is out, flip flops are on, bottle of Corona in hand and the BBQ is warming up. Happy summer folks, make the most of it as this could be it!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
