Thanks Ray for sharing,sorry for going off topic but my daughter showed me an app on her phone at weekend that tracked buses. And it showed their position and how long before it arrived.I wonder if there is a similar app for the underground

Very interesting and helpful indeed. I myself will probably NEVER head back into London, let alone the underground. You'd have to phisically drag me kicking and screaming to get me there

Bus tracking wise, http://www.buschecker.com/app/UK/ not seen anything for the london underground as extensive as the map in the OP though...

I'm pretty much the same. London is alright in small doses, I don't mind the occasional visit (the last one was a decade ago!) but it's nice to get out and back home. I don't know how people can live there to be honest.

I don't mind London. I've worked there in the past but never lived there permanently. I still visit from time to time and Mrs TLY (who doesn't like London) and I are due spend a night there again in June.

I actually enjoy the buzz of very big cities but only in small doses these days. I love history and London, as the heart of the largest empire the world has ever seen, has world history beckoning nearly everywhere you look.
