Having launched its 3x weekly service from Amritsar to London Stansted on 31 October, Air India is now reportedly interested in adding flights from Mumbai Int'l to the London airport.

Daily flights to Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen are planned from march. I am not sure if this will end up being Turkish flights or anadolujet, or both.

Just because they've acquired slots for both, doesn't mean they'll operate from both.

They probably applied for slots at Heathrow, Gatwick & Stansted to see what they got, then they'll choose where they fly to.

Eight destinations in India have been identified for possible flights from Stansted by start-up long-haul carrier Flypop.

The cities under consideration have been listed on the airline’s website as being Amritsar, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Goa, Chandigarh, Hyderabad and Kocki.
