For Heathrow's EK7 / 8 service?

So an A380 that they are going to bus economy and assume chauffeur F and J passengers up and down the M40?
That would appear to be a logistical nightmare. Either the passengers would have to be told to arrive at LHR earlier, or the flight operate later which would result in many missed connections.

I presume passengers would be offered the choice to book onto one of the other Heathrow flights, or any of the flights from Gatwick, Stansted or Birmingham. Any remaining passengers would then be given the option of a refund surely?

The whole point of this is Heathrow capping the number of passengers going through the airport, so can’t see passengers being asked to turn up to Heathrow or being bussed back down to Heathrow as that still requires capacity at Heathrow to deal with them.

The evening Gatwick flight only recently got the A380 back, so there’s still a decent capacity increase there to take up the slack from Heathrow.

Yeah im confused.com Can somebody speak in plain English and tell me what the hell is going on :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::unsure:

Potential restrictions at LHR may see an extra service into BHX for a period of time.

I assume that discussions are still taking place but it's good to see that BHX are willing and able to step up and help out it's key airlines (y)

Emirates have told Heathrow to shove their restrictions where the sun does not shine so unless the flight is on approach and the tower refuse to let it land, it’s not coming to Birmingham.

Still think Gatwick is the better idea, think of the poor passengers.

What is strange is that EK5007 is a preassigned flight number. It’s on QF metal but that flight number would not be used on a different flight.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
