Heathrow did not stop all arrivals and departures for 2 hours. They closed certain Standard Instrument Departure (SID's) routes during the ceremony. I posted the NOTAM in the' Heathrow Airport - General Thread' -Heathrow is stopping all arrivals and departures for 2 hours for the funeral, the Queen will travel from central London to Windsor which is directly under the 27 flight path and 09 flight path, reason is 1) out of respect to the queen 2) the amount of news helicoptors and police helicopters following it to Windsor

So will BHX see other diverts on Monday, closure for 2 hours is pretty big ?
Im sure the like of Qatar, Ethihad and the US carriers won't want to miss out ?

A further NOTAM has been issued for Monday, which is likely to have a much greater effect -

I wouldn't expect there to be much higher demand on FR24 than usual on Monday. There's no special flight that people will be wanting to track, as there was with the flight returning Her Majesty's coffin to London.Monday if FR24 doesn't crash should be interesting
