Came directly over my house this afternoon, looked fantastic against the blue sky. Even my girlfriend liked it![]()
Little for MAN which I have been surprised at as it is on the same alignment at BHX.
I would take Brum over Los Angeles any day. Found Los Angeles was frankly a bit of a dump with a few ridiculously expensive places like Brentwood, Beverly Hills and Malibu etc. Oh and it's too big, too violent, too polluted and too hot!One side note, I think they mentioned Birmingham as in the East Midlands, oooooops and LAX lovely sunny day and they had to show Birmingham on a wet gloomy day.
But then I suppose Birmingham is not Los Angeles but great to see that BHX is part of the select few airports in the world to have A380 flights.

Maybe slightly OT but having travelled to a few US cities LA's the only one i couldn't get on with, it felt like it had no 'soul' is the best way i can think of describing it.I would take Brum over Los Angeles any day. I've heard that before. Las Vegas is another city that I've heard described as all glitz and glamour but again, no "soul". San Francisco is apparently a whole different world from LA though.Maybe slightly OT but having travelled to a few US cities LA's the only one i couldn't get on with, it felt like it had no 'soul' is the best way i can think of describing it.
And I can guarantee that just around the corner from the glitz and glamour you would find poverty and deprivation.I've heard that before.
