Just spent 30 minutes having some fun with an Indian chap trying to scam me.

It was very much like the one in the video.

I guess there are some people out there that will buy into it otherwise they wouldn't be doing it.

I ended the call after the caller asked for details showing on my PC and I said yes of course, it says "Indian Call Scam" and he laughed and cut off.

I notice one of the commenters on that video said that a friend of his had planted a "zip bomb" (a virus that causes the program or system reading it to crash) in a file labelled "Bank Details", and it came up on the scammer's computer while he was talking to the scammer on the phone. The friend then heard a lot of swearing at the other end of the line, so the scammer must have opened the file and unleashed the virus.

When I was talking to the guy I just tapped keys randomly so it sounded like I was following his instructions. It was so clearly a scam I just pretended to go along with it to see where it was leading.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
