Super pics, Jerry. You obviously managed to get quite close to the Arrows aircraft.

This side of the water has seen a somewhat cloudy day but with a very warm and heavy atmosphere. Your pics suggest a similar day at CWL. I've checked the weather radar for the past couple of hours which shows a lot of what is painted as heavy showers in the West of England and in the area of Wales around Cardiff. Parts of Bristol seem to have suffered but where I live on the south-east edge of the city it's been dry.

Yeah close as i could get most of the photos were taken through the fence along the perimeter where there is a path and the fly pasts are stills i took from the video i just posted which i took by crash gate 2 at the airport.
About 13.30 it started to pour down with rain so i finished the day then which unfortunately meant i didn't get any video of the Typhoons taking off as they didn't leave until about 16.15 i think.

Shame about the weather but what you did manage to photograph is extremely impressive. Many thanks again.

Yeah it was slightly humid here today weather wise. We had a drop of rain but nothing too heavy. The grass is starting to burn off and turn yellow here it’s been that warm (presumably the same on your side of the severn). Back to 26 degrees here tomorrow followed by 3 to 4 days of 22-24 degrees.

Great captures by the way Jerry!

These will be the 3rd as believe as G-ZBKA has also been in. I’m not 100% certain but a previous BA divert which was a Dreamliner May have also been a 9 series.

I have also noticed my camera needs a good clean as there is a blotch in several images.

If rumours are true then we should have the first visit of a TUI B787-9 series during this winter.

Many thanks for posting, Jerry. First rate as always.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
